New Sustainability in Finace (SuFi) -project started in March 2020. This project coordinated by Haaga Helia’s School of Vocational Teacher Education seeks new solutions to match the employment demand.
The project strated during the COVID19 situation, so the first two project consortium meetings were held on 15 May and 12 June 2020 using software-based video-conferencing system Zoom. During online communication at Zoom platform, project’s participants were introduced to others and the most important issues regarding project’s management, implementation and dissemination were disscused.
The project outcome is an online finance module (15 ECTS) with sustainability content that will be taken into use by all partner schools, and will be available for all on an open online educational material platform. The SuFi module will be tested, piloted and developed jointly by all partner institutions.
In addition to Haaga-Helia, schools participating in the project are Vocational education and training center “Liepajas State Technical school” (Latvia), University of Latvia, Tartu VEC and University of Tartu (Estonia) and Högskolan på Åland.
